Gillian Smith was born in the North Island and with the family shifted from the Wairarapa down to Christchurch in 2003. This move was a step to providing a better future with more opportunities for her four children, Jeremy, Chelsea, Monique and Leah.  Family has always been the number one priority in Gill’s life and as her children are pursuing their own interests so too is Gill, as a marriage and funeral celebrant.

As a registered marriage celebrant, I take the time and effort to craft a service that is as special as the people to whom I am providing the service for. The extra mile is taken to do research, ask questions and deliberate.  The experiences I have with working in the wedding industry have shaped me into an approachable and creative celebrant. I will work with you to create an authentic and individual ceremony that has a lasting memory.

I confidently relate to people of all ages, and I am proud to be part of the life long promise and tradition of love between a man and a woman.. In terms of personality, I am approachable, yet vibrant, capable yet fun, diligent yet outgoing.  I  believe that with my guidance, empathy and understanding, I am able to provide celebrancy services to any couple to make their day the best of their lives.
